The Government Information Office Uncovers 27 Illegal Cable TV Stations in November 1999 |
| In November 1999, the GIO and county and city agencies jointly investigated 152 cable TV operators (channel 4s). (Thirty-six of these investigations were made after 8 p.m.) The investigations included 65 investigations of primary broadcast facilities and 87 investigations of secondary broadcast facilities. One of the primary broadcast facilities and 26 of the secondary broadcast facilities were suspected of violating administrative regulations. |
