IPO Holds Copyright Promotions |
From July 1998 through June 1999, the Intellectual Property Office held a series of promotions to educate the public on copyright-related laws and regulations. The promotions included the following events: (a)Formation of a team of copyright professionals to promote copyright laws and regulations; (b)Copyright contests on school and college campuses; (c)"Open Studio" neighborhood copyright promotions; (d)"Mr. Copyright' neighborhood copyright promotions; (e)National copyright promotional tour; (f)Copyright information management system promotions; (g)Copyright Law's 70th anniversary road race; (h)Seminar series on recent copyright law developments; (i)Campaign truck promotions; (j)Copyright original work displays; (k)Cooperative efforts with television stations; (l)Cooperative efforts with radio stations; (m)Copyright slogan contest; (n)Other written promotions; (o)Surveys of the public's awareness of copyright issues; (p)Copyright pre-paid phone cards; (q)Production of television variety program on copyright law education; and (r)Other promotions. |
