| New Version of Patent Application Two-Dimensional Code System Released |
| On 15 December 1999, the Intellectual Property Office (IPO) completed a new version of the Patent Application Two-Dimensional Code System. Those wishing to obtain a disk with the system can contact Ms. Elsa Lin of the IPO's Information Office at 886-2-2738-0007 ext. 1103. The new version of the system can also be downloaded directly from the IPO's ftp site (ftp://www.moeaipo.gov.tw/2d/setup) (patent1.exe and patent2.exe for the application system; trans.exe for the transfer system; source.exe for the source code of the transfer system.) A Chinese-language installation version of the new system can also be downloaded from the IPO's ftp site (ftp://www.moeaipo.gov.tw/2d/chinese) (setup.exe).
